Generated tags
Fill in your page details and get a complete, copy-paste-ready set of meta tags: title, description, canonical URL, Open Graph for Facebook and LinkedIn, and Twitter Card. Live character counters show whether your title and description fit Google's display limits, and the preview shows how the result looks in search.
How it works
- 1 Fill in the page details Enter your page title, meta description, and URL. Add a site name, preview image URL, and Twitter handle if you have them — tags for empty fields are simply left out.
- 2 Watch the counters and preview The counters turn green when the title (30–60 characters) and description (70–160 characters) fit typical display limits, and the Google-style preview updates as you type.
- 3 Copy the generated tags Click Copy and paste the block into the <head> section of your HTML page. Special characters are already escaped.
Your data stays private

Frequently asked questions
- Which meta tags does this generate?
- The <title> tag, meta description, canonical link, Open Graph tags (og:type, og:title, og:description, og:url, og:site_name, og:image), and Twitter Card tags (twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description, twitter:image, twitter:site). Only tags for fields you fill in are included.
- How long should a title tag be?
- Aim for 30–60 characters. Google typically displays about 50–60 characters (roughly 600 pixels) before truncating with an ellipsis. Shorter is fine; longer means your ending gets cut off in search results.
- How long should a meta description be?
- Aim for 70–160 characters. Google usually shows up to about 155–160 characters on desktop. The description doesn't affect ranking directly, but a good one improves click-through rate.
- What are Open Graph tags for?
- Open Graph tags control how your page looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, and most other platforms — the headline, description, and preview image of the link card come from these tags.
- What image size should og:image be?
- 1200×630 pixels is the safe standard — it works for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter's summary_large_image card. Keep the file under 1 MB and use an absolute URL (https://...), not a relative path.
- Do meta keywords still matter?
- No. Google confirmed back in 2009 that the keywords meta tag is ignored for ranking, and Bing treats it as a spam signal at worst. That's why this generator doesn't produce one.
